Aurora Straus, professional race car driver and student at Harvard, founded Girls With Drive after young girls began to approach her at races. Inspired by her own mentors, Straus created Girls With Drive to help young girls find role models that will inspire them to break their own glass ceilings.
For the past two years, she competed as the only teenage female professional sportscar racer in North America. In 2017, she was named IMSA Rookie of the Year. And in 2018, she placed 2nd in the overall championship, including four podiums and two wins, in Pirelli World Challenge (BMW M4 GT4).
Some of Straus’s 2018 media appearances include Good Morning America, Jay Leno’s Garage, and NY Post.
